We took to our favorite shore dive at Phil Foster Park underneath the Blue Heron Bridge, but this time at night. We enjoy seeing different creatures after dark, as well as some of our regular playmates out of character, like this free swimming octopus.

But the highlight came when we cruised by an all-too-random, bright red, sponge-like creature…It looked like an underwater transformer slowly traversing through the sand.  That’s when we got in a little closer and discovered it was a Decorator Crab!   He was a curious little guy (see below).  If you haven’t seen the Blue Heron Bridge at night, you are certainly missing out.  Pura Vida Divers has special permission from Palm Beach County to access the park after dark. You will also need a parking pass, so please keep an eye on our Facebook page to join us on our next night dive adventure!
