SHARK FRIENDLY BUSINESS:

Pura Vida Divers is registered as a Shark Friendly Business as part of the Shark Friendly Marinas Initiative.  The Shark Friendly Marinas Initiative has a singular purpose, to reduce worldwide shark mortality. They encourage shark conservation at sport fishing and resort marinas by prohibiting the landing of any shark at the participating marina.

Each year, as a shark friendly business, Pura Vida Divers hosts a Shark WEEKend designed to promote the conservation and awareness of shark species.  We conduct shark seminars, shark conservation specialty courses, and shark diving opportunities.  These weekends usually occur in the month of February.  Contact us if you’d like to sign up for the next Shark WEEKend.
