Check yourself, before you “wreck” yourself. Get ready to tackle your bucket list of diving adventures with Peak Performance Buoyancy. Learn how to achieve perfect buoyancy in preparation for exploring wrecks and photographing your favorite marine life.
This is not your average Peak Performance Buoyancy class!
Learn how to control yourself in the water column. Then, work with your instructor to fine tune your weight. Next, understand how to streamline and trim your gear so you stay perfectly balanced. Finally, practice hovering in any position. PPB divers will learn how to get close to reefs without disturbing sensitive marine life.
During the Peak Performance Buoyancy class, we will simulate moving through a wreck environment. We will even practice with reels, all while using those perfect buoyancy skills. For photographers or aspiring photographers, these skills are critical to taking your best shots.
This class is a must before your next wreck dive! It’s also a great lead-in to the Wreck Specialty, where you become fully trained to safely explore and navigate wrecks.
Peak Performance Buoyancy Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Certification (or equivalent)
- Completed Medical Form
- Nitrox certification is highly recommended
