Beach-and-Ocean-Cleanup

Local diver Natalia Pluta, needed to create a community service project for a school assignment. Her love for diving and the local environment was the key to her decision to organize a beach & ocean cleanup at Phil Foster Park.

Pura Vida Divers has teamed up with Natalia for her Beach & Ocean Cleanup at Phil Foster Park on Saturday, October 26th.

This is a FREE event! Divers, snorkelers, surfers, and beach goers are all welcome to attend.

Do you need CAS or Community Service Hours? You can earn up to 5 CSA or Community Service Hours for participating in the day’s events. Please remember to bring your forms for Natalia to fill out.

All divers need to confirm participation before the day of the event and will be required to bring their diver certification card, a dive flag float, and a timing device as well as sign an Underwater Liability Release Form. All non-divers participating in the Phil Foster Park Clean-Up will be required to sign a liability release at the registration table.

To thank everyone for participating, Natalia will be providing pizza for those who attend!
