Our dives today we focused on cleaning up the reef as part of the Southeast Florida Action Network (SEAFAN) for the 3rd Annual Southeast Florida Reef Cleanup event. With a wonderful group of divers we rid the reefs of hundreds of feet of fishing line and tackle, plastic bags, glass and plastic bottles, and all sorts of odd human discards. While we cleaned the reefs we had encounters with sea turtles, a unique semicircle angelfish, and even a great hammerhead shark!
A very special thanks to all the dedicated divers who worked so hard to help the reefs.
