Pura Vida Divers is teaming up with Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful for the 2017 Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 22nd. Our location is Phil Foster Park!
This is a FREE event! Divers, surfers, beach goers, kids and families are all welcome to attend. To thank everyone for participating, everyone who turns in a completed data card will have their trash weighed for a chance to win a prize. The individual who collects the most trash (by weight) will be our winner.
Itinerary for the day:
9:00 am: Meet at the picnic tables near the playground for registration and an underwater/beach cleanup orientation. The beach cleanup orientation will begin promptly at 9:00 am. We will provide cleanup materials and hand out Great American Cleanup t-shirts (donated by Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful) to those who attend, while supplies last. Supplies are limited, so be sure to get there early.
11:30 am: Please bring your collected trash and completed data cards back to the picnic tables. Everyone who turns in a completed data card will have their trash weighed for a chance to win a prize. The individual who collects the most trash (by weight) will be our winner!
Please RSVP by Monday, April 17th. This will help to ensure that we have enough t-shirts and cleanup supplies for everyone attending.
Do you need CAS or Community Service Hours? You can earn up to 5 CSA or Community Service Hours for participating in the day’s events. Don’t forget to bring your forms. We will be happy to sign your service hour sheets!
