Veterans, whether you’re already a certified scuba diver, or someone who loves the ocean and wants to learn how to dive, this day is for you. Operation Deep Valor and Pura Vida Divers are teaming up to host a special Veterans Appreciation event on Tuesday, July 7 from 11 AM – 4 PM.
This is your chance to connect with fellow veterans, give back to our oceans, and discover how your military benefits can launch an exciting new career in the diving industry.
The best part? It is FREE for veterans to participate, and you could win incredible prizes, including a Shearwater Perdix 2 dive computer!
EVENT TIMELINE
First, meet us at Phil Foster Park for a Beach Cleanup! Pick up your giveaway tickets and cleanup supplies at the Pura Vida Divers tent. Get to know fellow veterans as you help remove harmful marine debris.
After the giveaway drawing, join us to explore underwater. Save your spot in a FREE Guided Dive or FREE Guided Snorkel Tour below, or adventure out on a self-guided dive. Save your spot soon, as space is limited.
GUIDED DIVE
For our veterans who are already scuba certified, this is your chance to get underwater with a community that understands you. Operation Deep Valor is covering the cost of your Guided Dive and rental tank.
Explore the beautiful Blue Heron Bridge alongside fellow veterans and dive pros. Come enjoy the unmatched peace and camaraderie of the ocean.

This guided experience is perfect for veterans looking to relax, have fun, and connect in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
