Join Pura Vida Divers on Saturday, April 27th to volunteer for the 2019 Great American Cleanup! Last year we removed more than 650 pounds of trash from the Blue Heron Bridge and our offshore reefs. With your help, this year we can collect even more!
Volunteers can join us at 9am at Phil Foster Park to clean the shoreline of the Blue Heron Bridge. Certified SCUBA divers can earn their PADI Dive Against Debris specialty certification (see below) and dive the bridge, or hop aboard dive charter boat Marin to remove trash from offshore reefs.
Volunteers MUST register in advance. Every participant who registers will receive a FREE cleanup t-shirt, and a 4Ocean bracelet! ALL cleanup supplies will be provided. These include buckets and bags, trash grabbers and gloves. All ages are welcome!
Remember to bring a reusable water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. We recommend neoprene gloves for divers. Beach cleanup volunteers should wear swimsuits and closed-toe water shoes if you plan to get in the water.
To register and reserve your shirt and bracelet, just contact Pura Vida Divers and we’ll get you signed up! Phone: 561-840-8750, Email: Info.PVD@PuraVidaDivers.com
