Sex-on-the-Reef

Coral Reefs are the most diverse ecosystem on Earth.  More species of animals live here then anywhere else on our planet.  Life on a coral reef can be hectic and difficult, but most of all, life on a coral reef is unique.  Each species has it’s own distinct role to play in this amazing ecosystem, especially when it comes to finding love!

In honor of the coral reef, Pura Vida Divers will be hosting a Social Night on June 14th, 2013 to raise awareness for coral reefs and their inhabitants. This is a FREE event!

It doesn’t matter if you’re a diver, surfer or beach goer, everyone is welcome to attend. So join us for an evening of socializing, delicious food, and sex on the reef.

Kitty Philips, an instructor with the Florida Master Naturalist Program and an Advanced Assessment team member with REEF, will be presenting.  Topics will include: Reproductive habits of different families of fishes and invertebrates, and the location and times of the day best for witnessing these amazing behaviors.

Our team will be providing drinks and appetizers, and guests are welcomed to bring a small covered dish of food to the Social Night. This way everyone is sure to have their favorite dish. This is not a requirement! If you are unable to bring a dish, please do not let the dish prevent you from coming.

We will also have a 50/50 cash drawing to raise money for The Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF).  So don’t forget to bring some cash!!
