Social Night – Sharks!
Join us on Friday, February 15th for our next Social Night, all about sharks! We have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Toby Daly-Engel, of the Florida Institute of Technology’s Shark Conservation Lab. Dr. Daly-Engel will help us sort fact from fiction during a shark “mythbusting” session. She’ll share her fascinating research into shark reproductive sciences, and discuss her recent discovery of a new shark species…
This is a FREE event. Join us for an evening of socializing and delicious food!
As usual, our team will supply drinks and delicious appetizers. If you’d like, help us make the evening extra festive by bringing a yummy potluck-style dish to share.
One lucky winner will go home with a gift certificate from the 50/50 raffle! Half the proceeds will be donated to the Shark Conservation Lab at Florida Tech. The non-profit supports student-driven research that combines field ecology, evolutionary genomics, and educational outreach for a next-generation approach to shark conservation.
