LINDA IANNIELLO

Linda has been scuba diving and taking underwater images for over 35 years. Her favorite type of photography has always been macro photography, where half the challenge is finding the small, unusual subjects. Then the other half is then to identify them to the species level. She has spent many dives locally on the reefs and at Blue Heron Bridge hunting for sea slugs. Over the years, she and her dive buddies have identified over 125 species locally.

Linda contributes her images for scientific purposes, and they have appeared in several articles, ID books, and scientific papers. She feels that these subjects all have a purpose. And people must be educated that they exist and need to be protected.

Her images of the local sea slugs can be found in her website gallery at: https://lindaiphotography.com/local-sea-slugs/
