Unfortunately, winter time brings with it the occasional high seas. With the nor’easter up in New Jersey sending us some large swells, not everyone is of fan of rock’n’rolling on a boat. Thankfully, we can still go diving in West Palm Beach thanks to the protected shore dives at Phil Foster park.

Good visibility was not expected since the pounding waves can really stir up the beach sand quite well. But with so many minuscule creatures to be found at this dive site, you don’t really need a lot of visibility to have a very enjoyable dive. With the right camera techniques you can even produce nice images. No one would ever know you were diving in 8-10ft of visibility.
