DAN DIVING FIRST AID FOR PROFESSIONAL DIVERS (DFA PRO INSTRUCTOR)

WHY BECOME A DAN DFA PRO INSTRUCTOR?

A DAN DFA Pro Instructor knows scuba diving is an extreme sport.  There are ways to dive safely, and we learn and practice these from our first breaths underwater.  Sometimes, things beyond our control can cause accidents.  Even if we do everything right, there is the possibility of error, malfunction, or problems arising.  The longer you dive, the more likely you are to run into one of these situations.  This is not just true in scuba diving, but in everyday life as well.

The DAN Diving First Aid for Professional Divers Instructor (DAN DFA Pro Instructor) Course prepares diving professionals for these circumstances.  Dive pros have distinct training and experience in diving environments.  They have a higher level of responsibility to respond to diving-related accidents.  This training matches that higher level of duty and care.  Equip yourself with the knowledge and expertise needed for incidents in diving environments.

The DAN DFA Pro Instructor Course certifies dive professionals (active-status Divemaster or above) to teach an array of DAN first aid courses.  Take your education and training abilities to the next level.  Find out more about these courses.

EMERGENCY OXYGEN FOR SCUBA DIVING INJURIES

As a DAN DFA Pro, learn how to administer emergency oxygen.  Understand how to recognize the signs and symptoms of DCI.  Find out about decompression sickness (DCS) and lung overexpansion injuries.  Both are rare and symptoms are often unnoticeable.  Oxygen first aid can make the difference in recovery and lifelong injury or death.  Equip yourself with the training to make the difference.

These are not only useful skills in scuba diving.  Administering emergency oxygen can be crucial in other activities.
