Scheduling and Reservations
Your experienced and professional staff at Pura Vida Divers offer regularly scheduled scuba diving certification courses and experience programs in addition to a flexible schedule that allows you the opportunity to schedule your instruction around your vacation or business schedule.

Reservations with a course deposit are recommended two weeks prior to your arrival, so that your instructor at Pura Vida Divers can insure that you receive your training materials in sufficient time to complete the independent study portions of your courses.

Select training dives may also be credited towards additional courses, so you may be able to complete multiple courses during your visit to South Florida.

Medical Statement
For every course you enroll in, you will need to complete a Medical Statement to assess your physical condition as it relates to scuba diving. Your instructor at Pura Vida Divers can send you the Medical Statement for your review prior to your arrival or you can download your Medical Statement (.pdf file) now.

If you answer "Yes" to any of the questions on your Medical Statement, it does not mean that you are not able to dive, but you will need to get a physician's approval on the Medical Statement prior to beginning your course.

If you have a physician's approval from a previous Medical Statement that is dated within one year, you can provide this to your instructor at Pura Vida Divers.

Guidelines and Recommendations
According to Divers Alert Network (DAN), the current flying after diving recommendation is a minimum preflight surface interval of 18 hours after multiple no decompression dives in a single day or multiple days of no-decompression dives.

As a student, you are able to conduct three training dives in one day. This only applies to training dives. This does not limit you to additional diving during your visit.

Select training dives may also be credited towards additional courses, so you may be able to complete multiple courses during your visit to South Florida.
