Most Unique Trash: Shannon Anderson Shopping Cart

Prizes included diving and snorkeling equipment, t-shirts, and dive charters. All participants received a prize as well as a t-shirt for there conservation efforts.

In their inaugural event, LagoonKeepers.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Lake Worth Lagoon, provided additional support and sponsorship including clean up materials and t-shirts for all participants.

Food and beverages were provided by The Hungry Shark, a pizza establishment on Singer Island, while Pete's Banners provided banners and signs.

With a force of scuba divers, snorkelers, and beachcombers, the underwater and beach clean up efforts focused on the Southwest section of Phil Foster Park. This area, under the Blue Heron Bridge and near the fishing pier, typically offers divers and snorkelers protected access to the Intercoastal Waterway and the incredible marine life that inhabits this extraordinary dive site.
