COLD!!!!! air temps but that didn't stop our group of intrepid divers. It paid off too with a 12'+ great Hammerhead. Current use mild as far as southbound currents go but we could move against it easily. Todays dives were the Trench and Palm Beach triangle. Conditions today were better than NOAA forecasted. Current is still back and forth, one day its north the next its south. Great turtle encounters as wellas several large Eels.
FYI...www.divepalmbeach.net is a newly created dive forum for our area. Please check it out and share photos, stories, conditions reports, environmental concerns, etc. It's a great way for everyone who loves diving here to stay connected and up-to-date on local dive topics. Also, we now have a facebook page called "Friends of Pura Vida Divers". If you love facebook, please sign up to our member list as we'll be posting updates, photos and events on that site too.
Lobster season is officially over until mini-season at the end of July. Let us know if you want to get on one of these early season trips!
Until the next posting, safe diving and have a great last week of December!
