During your Open Water Diver course, you learned to dive... you learned how to clear your mask, how to replace your regulator, and, hopefully, how to enjoy yourself underwater. PADI Continuing Education courses are designed to introduce you to new opportunities while expanding your diving skills.

Offering a complete selection of PADI Continuing Education courses including Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Specialty, and Rescue Diver courses, you will discover your next adventure with Pura Vida Divers.

PADI Continuing Education courses and Adventure Dives are available daily on board Sirena. Depending upon your interests, you can complete or begin a PADI Continuing Education course on your next dive charter.

Individual courses vary in length from half-day to four-days, and can be scheduled to be completed during multiple visits to South Florida. With Pura Vida Divers, you can complete all or any portion of the required dives for a PADI Continuing Education course. You will receive your certification for the course upon completion of all required dives and additional training requirements.

Bonus Savings - Now you can complete your PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver certification at the same time as almost any Continuing Education course.

PADI Adventure Diver
In your PADI Adventure Diver course, you will get your chance to sample three Adventure Dives of your choice. You get a taste of something new, strengthen your underwater skills, and an opportunity to enjoy diving more than ever.

Typically completed in one day, your Adventure Dive choices include enriched air (nitrox), drift, boat, wreck, deep, night, underwater navigation, multilevel, dry suit, fish identification, underwater naturalist, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, and search and recovery.

Offered daily on board Sirena, your PADI Adventure Diver course includes your three Adventure Dives, air tank rentals (unless specified), soft weights, weight belt, training materials, logbook, certification and instructor fees, and photo. You must be certified as an Open Water Diver to participate in this course.

In addition, each of your Adventure Dives can be credited towards your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or as the first dive of correlating PADI Specialty courses.

Bonus Savings - Now you can complete your PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver certification at the same time as your Adventure Diver course.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Similar to the PADI Adventure Diver course, you will get your chance to sample five Adventure Dives. You will complete deep and underwater navigation dives as well as your choice of three additional Adventure Dives including enriched air (nitrox), drift, boat, wreck, night, multilevel, dry suit, fish identification, underwater naturalist, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, and search and recovery.

Typically completed in two days and offered daily on board Sirena, your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course includes your five Adventure Dives, air tank rentals (unless specified), soft weights, weight belt, training materials, logbook, certification and instructor fees, and photo. You must be certified as an Open Water Diver to participate in this course.

In addition, each of your Adventure Dives can be credited towards as the first dives of correlating PADI Specialty courses.

PADI Adventure Dives
If you would like to try something new or your vacation or business schedule does not permit you to complete your PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver course during one visit, you can complete one Adventure Dive at a time. You will receive your certification for the course upon completion of all required dives and additional training requirements.

Offered daily on board Sirena, your Adventure Dive choices include enriched air (nitrox), drift, boat, wreck, deep, night, underwater navigation, multilevel, dry suit, fish identification, underwater naturalist, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, and search and recovery.

You must be certified as an Open Water Diver to participate in this course. Adventure Dives not include your diving, tank rentals, training materials, certification fees, or photo.

PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
Do you find yourself wanting extra bottom time, but your dive computer or tables just won't give it to you? With enriched air (nitrox), you can potentially extend your bottom time, shorten your surface interval, and increase your safety margin.

With Pura Vida Divers' instructional team, you will learn how to analyze your enriched air (nitrox) tanks and properly plan your dive profiles as well as gain an in-depth understanding of the benefits and risks of enriched air (nitrox).

Typically completed in one day and offered daily on board Sirena, your PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver course include your two enriched air (nitrox) dives, enriched air (nitrox) tank rentals, soft weights, weight belt, training materials, certification and instructor fees, and photo. You must be certified as an Open Water Diver to participate in this course.

PADI Specialty Courses and Instruction
Would you like to explore the interior of a wreck? Would you like to explore beyond 100-feet? Would you like to polish your buoyancy skills? Would you likely to learn more about the coral reef ecosystem and marine species that surround you? Would you like to earn your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating?

With PADI Specialty courses and instruction, you learn the dive skills, knowledge, and planning that is necessary to safely and enjoyably conduct special interest dives.

Depending upon your personal interests and schedule, you can complete any number of specialty courses on your next dive vacation or during multiple visits to South Florida. Individual specialty courses and instruction vary in length from half-day to two days.

Offered daily, PADI Specialty courses and instruction include Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Drift Diver, Boat Diver, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Night Diver, Underwater Navigator, Multilevel Diver, Dry Suit Diver, AWARE Fish Identification, Underwater Naturalist, and Peak Performance Buoyancy as well as AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, Project AWARE, Equipment Specialist, and Underwater Photography.

PADI Rescue Diver
Your PADI Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the purely recreational level. You will learn to look beyond yourself, and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this is a serious course, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence, understanding, and experience.

With Pura Vida Divers' instructional team, you will take your diving to a completely new level. Your PADI Rescue Diver training prepares you to help prevent problems, and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies incorporating a variety of techniques.

Typically completed in four days, your PADI Rescue Diver course includes your air tank rentals, soft weights, weight belt, training materials, certification and instructor fees, and photo. You must be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver and an Emergency First Responder (or equivalent) to participate in this course.

Emergency First Responder
Your Emergency First Responder course trains you in the basics of emergency care including CPR and First Aid.
Completed in one day, your Emergency First Responder course is a prerequisite for your PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.

PADI Master Scuba Diver
Are you a Rescue Diver interested in taking your recreational diving education to its limits? Do you want more diving knowledge, understanding, and experience? If this is the case, you should consider earning your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest rating awarded to recreational divers.

With Pura Vida Divers' instructional team, you will complete five PADI Specialty courses of your choice. Typical selections include PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox), Wreck, Deep, Boat, and Drift Diver courses, but you are welcome to coordinate your course selections with your PADI Instructor. All PADI Specialty courses are applicable for your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

You earn you PADI Master Scuba Diver rating after successful completion of your Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver courses, 50 logged dives, and five PADI Specialty courses. As a Master Scuba Diver, you are well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster.

If you are not currently an Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver or do not have 50 logged dives, you can still continue your diving education with PADI Specialty courses and strive towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating. Upon completion of all training requirements, your application will be processed.

Have you already completed PADI Specialty courses? If so and you are an Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver with 50 logged dives, you can enjoy additional PADI Specialty courses until you have completed five total. All PADI Specialty courses are applicable for your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Typically completed in four days, your PADI Master Scuba Diver course includes your five Specialty courses, 12 dives, air tank rentals (unless specified), soft weights, weight belt, training materials, certification and instructor fees, and photos.
